JOINING INFORMATION
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETELY READ THE RULES AND REGULATIONS BEFORE JOINING WFW.
To sign up simply use the application that is already on the board. I will review them and then either e-mail or PM you to talk about your character and how we will fit you into our family of talented efeders. You must fill out the Application, The Biographies Page, and the WFW Graphics page to be considered.
In your signup, PLEASE change your Display Name to your wrestler's name, instead of staying with the default name it gives you (your usename).
There will be a monthly PPV event. It is WFW Mandatory Rule that ALL SINGLES titles are defended at PPVs. Owners of multiple titles will do multiple matches.
ROLEPLAYS
1. The staff of the WFW will not censor you in your rps...all rp styles are welcome, but let it be known that this fed is heavily geared towards the trash talking style of roleplaying. Storytelling, and in character shoots on an in-characters personal life, as well as other forms are welcomed. However, we do not tolerate OOC issues within the confines of an "In Character" promo.
1a. This is an ORIGINAL fed only. You can use pictures of wrestlers, but the name, bio, characters and finishers HAVE to be original. Also note that you can't ask a staff member for thier opinions of your match as it can lead to hard feelings and thoughts of favoritism.
2. You cannot use another member/wrestler in your roleplay without their prior consent. Staff will check if permission has been granted. Permission is only needed if the wrestler talks or is physically attacked. You are, however, allowed to have someone acting as the wrestler (if stated in the RP). The roleplay that violates this policy will be deleted and discounted. Constant violation of this policy will result in your termination from the WFW.
3. RPs will be judged by the staff members on a 'Quality over Quantity' basis.
4. Roleplay limits are as follows:
5 RP limit per week, unless agreed upon by both parties for more or less)
NO MORE than 2 RPs in one day. Any subsequent RPs will be deleted.
Sunday RPs will NOT be counted unless you have RPed earlier in the week. This is to avoid sandbagging.
5. As a common courtesy to all, all times mentioned are Board Times. The clock at the top of the fed will be the exact same for anyone, no matter where in the world you are logging into. No time zone converting needed.
6. The maximum for roleplays in a week is 5.
7. Segments are allowed and appreciated, they help the card results, but there are no added points for a segment. They are merely there for the progression of storylines, introductions of characters, etc. this is a rule set forth to encourage RPers to find the right balance of length and quality, it can be more beneficial to have a back and forth battle with shorter RPs than fewer detached long RPs.
8. PPV rules remain the same as Genocide rules. This fed is so d**n good every week could be a PPV.
9. Win or lose, make sure you have fun. Of course everyone likes to win but it isn't always possible. This is just a game.
TAG TEAM DIVISION
Anyone interesting in entering a tag team, new rules have just been implemented. The "both members of a team must RP" rule has been abolished.
1. Each team must create a team account. Both members of this team will have the password.
2. The maximum for roleplays for a TEAM is 6. Divide these any way you wish, but the team total cannot exceed 6 in one week.
DEADLINES
The deadline for roleplays is 11:59 pm BOARD TIME Saturday evening to give the staff a chance to put together a quality show to broadcast on Sunday Night Showdown or the Pay Per View. Segments and other card add ins have until noon the day of the card. Add ins and segments will be reviewed and edited for content to ensure no one tries to belittle or make an opponent look bad.
OOC
Personal fighting will NOT be tolerated on the WFW boards or the chatbox. If people have a problem with each other in real life settle it off the boards via PM or elsewhere. WE DO NOT TOLERATE DRAMA IN THE WFW!!!
MATCHES AND CHALLENGES
1. The WFW is a booked fed. However we will take all challenges into account and consideration as long as they don't interfere with current storylines. It is much better for advancement and stops people who like to dodge and avoid matches, as well as freeing up the wrestlers to make their own matches and feuds. You may also request matches by PMing staff.
2. If you are booked in a match that you are not happy with please do not complain. There is always a reason behind the staff booked matches.
3. There is a match limit of 1 singles match per card, unless it is a Pay Per View and your wrestler holds multiple singles titles. In this case, the staff can either force you into the same number of matches per titles held, or have one match with all titles on the line in some fashion..
4. Anybody who fails to RP for an advertised match will be subject to disciplinary actions as follows:
1st No Show - AUTOMATIC WARNING. If you contact a staff before Wednesday to say you can't RP that week, you will be exempt from the suspension. Sometimes, something comes up last minute. It happens. Contact Staff and we will work with you.
2nd No Show AUTOMATIC 1 week suspension.
3rd No Show Possible suspension leading up to but not short of TERMINATION.
SUSPENSION AND BANNING
1. The staff of WFW may take disciplinary actions as they see fit to include suspension or banning or people who violate the rules.
2. If you want to praise someone for a roleplay or comment on it, post it on the CRITIQUE section of either the Genocide Card or the PPV Card sections, any OOC posts on the in character board will be deleted, repeat offenders will be punished!
3a. Anyone found using the WFW boards or system (boards, Private message, or mailing lists) to advertise their site without the expressed consent of the WFW OWNER will be subject to account termination, and find themselves banned from WFW. We will also contact the Proboards staff and have your ablility to use thier systems terminated as well. Proboards does not condone spamming and hacking of their sites.
3b. You must be a member in good standing with the WFW before we will even consider allowing you to place your efed on our affilaites boards. Trying to do so on your own is also considered spamming and advertising.
4. The WFW punishes spammers with suspensions and possible deletions for continued disregard for the rules. Remember that this is just a game so don't ruin it by spamming.
ADDITIONAL INFO
1. Staff will judge RPs after the deadline to ensure all RPs are included in their decision.
2. If you have a problem please let the staff know so it can be dealt with quickly. If the problem is keeping you away from FWFW (e.g. close family death) please PM staff or post in OOC and your character will not be booked in any matches.
3. In the event of the forum having the 'Too Many Connections' error the deadlines will not be extended.
4. Results will be posted under the "Results" thread of both Genocide and the Pay Per Views.
5. Please understand that as a core staff of four, we try to handle things in whatever way we can to make everyone as happy as possible. But we need to be given the chance to do that. Simply getting upset and leaving is not going to solve anything.
6. Don't complain about results. Your rps are here to entertain and push a competitive way of thinking and acting in the WFW. They will never be biasedly judged, they will never be altered, we believe in a completely level playing field here. Remember our only way of the roleplay life here:::QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!
